A.I.R. removal question '83 Z28 305
So for now anyway, I am removing the AIR system... most of the tubes are rusted through anyway...
(If you could look at the foto)- do I just disconnect tubes "A" and "C", and leave the holes open or should they be closed off? Also, just disconnect the module "B" and that's it? I do know I need to plug the holes in the exhaust manifold... also add a smog delete pulley... otherwise not sure what else.
Thanks for your help!

the whole smog pump, diverter valve, and hoses can all be removed-no need for smog delete pulley-just remove the pump and belt.If there are wires going to the diverter valve, insulate those and tuck away. One of the bolts for smog pump bracket is open into the engine as I recall and needs reinstalled.Pipe to the cat will need plugged too if it is there still.
