It's your car and you can do as you want but IMO, i'd keep the totl.

Re: SLP 20TL

Here are the benefits of the SLP 2OTL:

1. Subjective, but it is perhaps the only way to tastefully have an exposed exhaust on these cars. Having twin pipes exit on one side was a very clean, European look.
2. When paired with SLP headers, it works as a unit for a great sound and decent power increases (though there are probably better options for power).
3. It's period correct stuff built specifically for these cars back in the day. It may not be the best, but it's what you could order in the catalog in the 90s and that matters to nostalgia nerds.

Here's my dad's old car with a later owner - 91 305TBI with SLP headers and 2OTL. It sounded great, like the OEM sound with a hair more attitude and more volume:

Personally, I've thought of a custom GMMG 2OTL, but they really want a lot of money for those chambered GMMG setups to just cut it up...

Not to go off topic but MADHAMMER (supplier of GMMG) will sell you the individual chambered stick by itself if you want to make something custom. Ive spoken to them on the phone about it.

Thanks for sharing the video. Number 3 is exactly what my friend said. He said I should not change a thing since I have the SLP headers, exhaust, runners, and crank pulley. I have a single inlet CAI but it is not on the car. I guess it is a SLP tribute car.
