Mid length header options? Stainless?

Mid length header options? Stainless?
I'm currently searching the internet for a budget set of midlength headers for my new to me 1985 trans am. Ceramic isn't in the budget ATM so I would love to find stainless. I see all kinds of decent looking cheap shorty/midlength headers for a/g body cars. Could something like this be made to work? From the pictures they don't seem terribly different from hedman f body shorties.
