tune with exhaust

if I install shorty headers and cat delete will I need to have my chip re-flashed ? I know a tune will always take advantage of the new parts. I just want to make sure that installing these will not make my car run badly without a tune.

No, you're fine. You'll need a new tune when you install cam and heads. The stock computer can adjust for a better exhaust.

Re: tune with exhaust

I have a hotter tune in my L03. After we drop the L98 in it I would sell it. Delayed TC lockup, speed limiter delete, hotter spark table, etc. Seemed to maybe help mine a bit. Hope to be doing my swap as soon as deer season ends here mid Feb. Right now my car is sitting in the shop and has been since Nov. Hunting season is much more enjoyable my #1 hobby.
