Air Tube Delete

83 Z28 with 87 305 TPI, upgraded to 90-92 Speed Density system. I have removed the AIR system and plugged the ports in the manifolds with stainless steel plugs. I was wondering do I need to plug off the air tube input on the side of the cat? If so, how are others doing it

Re: Air Tube Delete

I would pinch it off, you could pinch it and then weld over for good measure to be sure its sealed against exhaust leaks.

Re: Air Tube Delete

Sounds like a plan on how to cap it off. Thanks everyone!
