Looking for advice on a decent system

I've been wanting to get my exhaust done now that I'm close to getting this car ready to be driven daily, I wanted to just chuck a decent muffler in the stock location but to my dismay I found out I have the dual resonator system that they used on the early lg4's and the LU5 crossfire 305's. I figured I'll get my whole system done right and fully replaced. I've been learning how to weld and I want to practice on something like this, I have a few parts picked out that I want to use listed below.

- Flowtech 11116FLT Shorty Headers
- Doug's Headers D901 2.5" Aluminum Y-Pipe for Small Block Chevrolet 82-92
- Hooker aero chamber 3" in/out muffler

I want to do a pipe in place of the cat that upsizes to a 3", that I am going to have made for me at a shop. Is there a company that sells the I pipe and the bends that go over the axle to the muffler? If not, what would I need to buy to recreate it? also where can I buy a nice outlet?
If nobody sells anything and its more hassle than it's worth I will just have a shop do it, thing is I'm worried about is the cost. Let me know what you guys think I should do, thanks.

Re: Looking for advice on a decent system

Flowtek headers suck and their Y pipe is even worse stay away.

I though that doughs Y pipe was for the hooker 2460 headers, either way you can cut it after the merger and add a 3
extension with a welder.
The aerochamber is a good system way better than the flowmaster crap that seems popular
