I ended up taking ownership of a humdrum '90 camaro r/s with tbi of all things. The dang A.I.R. is a nuisance. It's clogged up who knows how far back. Driver's side actually blew off at the valve so that the threads are unusable and deletion is inevitable. On my 88 Firebird formula 350 it was easy after making the decision to put long tube headers on (easy decision, long process.)
With this Camaro I just want to cut the A.I.R. off and plug that exhaust leak ASAP so I can change the spark plugs then burn rubber in 2nd on the way to someplace romantic so I can propose to the old lady. Does sheet metal and RTV work? Some jerk on a Corvette forum said so but I don't trust those 'vette guys.
