Flowmaster 40 or 44
Has anyone installed a Flowmaster 40 or 44 with single inlet and dual outlets in the space where the catalytic converter is mounted in its stock location and ran the dual exhaust pipes out the back to look stock?

44 would sound better. I seriously doubt either would fit where the CAT goes.
Personally, I wouldn't put a chambered muffler on a thirdgen...

Another data point, the further up the exhaust a restriction (muffler) is installed, the more of a restriction it is, the more it affects power. You're usually best off installing mufflers as far back as possible from a power perspective
