Ignitor exaust

I remember a few years ago, I saw exaust tips in a catalog that shot small flames out of them. I think it was a JC Whitney catalog. I'm pretty sure they were called Ignitor Tips. Are these still around?

I dont know that I've ever seen these in JC Whitney, but there are several websites that explain how to make them. And there are other sites that sell complete kits. However, with fuel injection, when you let off the gas, fuel stops flowing to the motor, and the big flames depend on raw, unburnt fuel. Also, the catalytic converter filters out most of the gas that adds to the flammable mixture.

if fuel stopped flowing to the motor when you let off the gas, wouldn't the engine die?
