95 db's @ 100 ft @ tracks; need muffler, ideas?
95 db's @ 100 ft @ tracks; need muffler, ideas?
Seems like the noise level @ most tracks, (autocross, Wen. night drags, etc), is 95 db's @ 100 ft.
I need a muffler & need one within these limits.
The 50 series are looking good, (I may "want to talk" to this one in the car),....would the 30's or even the 40 Delta's be too loud to pass tech?,........or even better, something other than the, "everybody eles has this sound"?
The
Flowmaster site tells me nothing about sound levels, (mild, mellow, etc,...useless marketing garbage).

i hate supertrapps, we had one on our 4 cylinder spitfire and it burned the fiberglass right out of it, not to mention the fact that it rusted so badly the little allen bolts wouldn't come loose.
why not flowmaster? how bout a bullet from dynomax?
