Anyone know the diameter of the Y pipe right before the cat? i tried the Headman website,, but i didnt even find the Y-pipe on there!...anyone know??

 

It's 2½" OD pipe; they include an adapter to fit a 3" pipe....gaskets and clamps, too.

thanks for the reply... how bad that gonna be on a 300+ HP 350? i was gonna go 3" all the way back.

 

id go with 3" all the way back with no adapter or anything

 

i want to go 3 all the way back, but due to money issues, this is the only thing i can get at the time.. and i NEED IT, other wise ill be running stock manifold nad Y pipe off of a new 300+hp engine. the 2.5 should just be a good torque builder im assuming , then 3 from the cat back will let it flow good. How that sound?
