SLP headers on 305
I have a 305 tpi engine now and in the near future i am going to buy a zz4 crate engine... but i am able now to get headers for the car... i need 1 3/4'' headers for the zz4... can i just get the 1 3/4 and put them on my 305 until i have my zz4?

I would just go and get the 1 3/4's so u can just put them on the ZZ4. 1 5/8's are much better for a 305 and would probably see better results being a good match, they are even OK for some 350's, but at least u won't have to buy 2 sets of headers. How modded is this 305??

If you gotta have the headers now, then get the 1 3/4 ones. They work fine on a 305.
Personally, I'd wait until I got the new engine and put everything in at once since you stated the engine was coming in the near future.
