Can you just order the installation kit and catalyst adaptor?
I already have headers from an earlier group purchase.

Yes, I'm sure you can. 91L98Z28 has the final tally of all the stuff we're getting so make sure it's on there. Steve sent me these instructions when we're ready...

Please post this ordering information.

Go to:

http://www.spohn.net/index.cfm?fusea...duct&productid
=88

and place your order. Enter part number(s) and put SLP-GP-3

Steve

I'm not sure how payment will be worked out. I assume we'll get that info when me make the order.
Does anyone know if they are being shipped to SoCal, I'd rather pick them up than pay for shipping, unless it's going to cost less than gas would.

You have to cut and paste into your browser (the '=88' is not included in the website address otherwise) to get to the site, the problem is once you get there, there is no place to enter PN#'s. I'm going to try e-mailing them to him and see what happens.

That should be 30038 ... I will sort it out with Steve. I think I could get this part from a local muffler shop if needed.

Here is a quote from Steve Spohn:

Originally Said by Steve Spohn:
Shipping:

If my total with SLP is less than $2500.00, they will be drop shipped from SLP to you. Headers are $40.00 shipping. Installation kits are $8.95 to $11.95 depending on which kit you order. The higher priced kits
are $11.95 and so on.

If my total order with SLP is more then $2500.00, everything will ship direct to me via truck freight which is included in my price, no additional charge. I will then ship them to you via FedEx Ground and you
will be charged the actual FedEx Ground charge, which I'm sure will be less than $40.00 for headers

Thanks,
Steve

I still don't see a final GP price without shipping. Im sure this is important to others besides me.

I just put my order in with steve.

For anyone who has not done so already, here is the specific directions:

(1) go to this URL:

http://www.spohn.net/index.cfm?fusea...t&productid=88

(2) click "add to cart"

(3) click "checkout"

(4) fill in the "billing information" and "shipping information". Only fill out "shipping information" if it's different from your "billing information".

(5) in "other information" select the appropriate car year and model, and the ship to address type

(6) in COMMENTS, put SLP-GP-3 on the first line, and then on each extra line, put each SLP part number you are interested in. FOR EXAMPLE, my comments box is:

SLP-GP-3
30002 1 5/8 2-cat W/AIR
30024 2-cat install kit
30102 special socket

(7) click on PROCEED

(8) enter your CC information (no, you don't get to see an example of my CC information!)

(9) click ORDER

(10) wait for your SLP headers and pester anyone who hasn't already ordered

I don't know what to say but $100.00 is a worthwhile savings unless you are not serious about the best headers you can buy for an f body that doesn't need a hack shop to install.

I must be confused. Normal price for my 30005 SLP headers is 399+40shipping to total $440. GP price is $385+25shipping to total to $410. 30bucks and 100 is a big difference. Where am I going wrong?

Yeah, I see what you mean but on the dual cat set up it does come to right at 100.00. From what I understand SLP charges more for S&H though. I wonder why the difference in discount. If this thing doesn't get off the ground within the next two weeks F-it I'm gonna talk to Summit. I need headers bad Engineered Performance Inc. F'ed up my exhaust system so bad with the Random Tech. cat installation, the tailpipes are off center the "y" pipe is 2" to the left causing it to contact my d/s loop and the system rattles. I won't be going back to them soon, nor do I recommend them. I'm gonna do it myself and get it right. Seems you can't pay good money to anyone for good work, they screw ya at every chance. The one thing is though if you want SLP headers the gp is still the way to go you still are saving something.

I just saw prowler's post here and he's out.

92BLKL98 also needs his headers and will be out if we can't get this thing off the ground in the next week or so.

Those of you who are left, do you want to wait this out or pull the plug?

I know you guys are gonna hate me for this but I gonna have to bail on this GP. Sorry to do this to you guys, just learned I have another two weeks with my current job, and than it's un-employment time. Woohoo. Damn internet companies and the bankruptcy stuff. Sorry again, hope you guys can find some replacements.

Hey guys come on let's get this going. For the most of us it's not a bad deal, even if the discount isn't much for some SLP headers aren't going to get much cheaper. If you're going to buy them anyway this is as good as any for getting them.

What are the savings on this GP, I may be interested. I'm looking at headers 1 3/4 for an 87 350 TPI.

Thanks

Dual cat or single cat, with or with out AIR go to the www.slponline.com site and you can see which headers you need check their prices and compare to prices previously posted on this topic. If you plan to get SLP headers you may as well save something if you can. Some thumb their noses at 25 - 40 bucks when others are getting 75 - 80 bucks because of different option prices and so on but, if you want them money saved is money in your pocket. This GP should have been over by now there have been ~ 10 - 15 people who could have saved something but for whatever reason dropped out. I'm not flaming anyone, I don't know what financial reasons or otherwise some have dropped out but, guys if all your doing is wishful thinking don't bother. I'm not trying to speak for anyone but the rest of us who have antied up would like for it to move along.

Peace guys...

Do you really need this expensive isntallation kit?,

No but you will end up putting the kit togather piece by piece, needing gaskets, bolts, various hardware and so forth the kit includes fire sleeves which may not be used by many but I have a set on my Blazer with headers and my Jacobs wires are perfect. These alone are 15.00 in the Summit catalog. So yeah 59.00 isn't too bad, although they should be with the headers as expensive as they are.

Come on people...isn't there anyone else out there who wants some SLP headers?

I want to have headers before I turn 90... This GP is already two months old and hasn't closed yet.

So, here's the deal. If spohn gets his new subframe connectors done before this GP gets completed, then i'm out of the GP and going to buy myself some subframe connectors instead, maybe some LCA's or a torque arm too.

So if you're out there sitting on the fence, order your darn headers. We only need two people.

primo,
here is the directions on how to order under the group purchase. Let us know when you get them ordered or if you need more help, so that someone can help out.

And for anyone who is keeping track:

1. 92BLKL98...............30003.............$415.00 ORDERED
2. unknown anonymous order per steve
3. 91L98Z28...............30002.............$415.00 ORDERED
4. transform................30002.............$415.00 ORDERED
5. primo......................
6. ONE EMPTY SLOT!!!!

Guys this is unreal that it's taken so long for this group purchase to go through. If we can't make it work by next Friday the 31st I'm going to have to order through Summit. I need to do repairs in a f...ed up exhaust system installed by a shop in my area and I'd like to go ahead with it ASAP. Two months on this gp is way too long.
