dual sides
has anyone ever came up with a concept of side pipes on any 3'rd gens?, i have made my own just want to see if anyone else has them or not:lala:
Yes...
Back when I was 17 I used Supertrap mufflers that mounted at a 45* angle just in front of the rear wheel well. I connected this to Edelbrock TES headers w/ stainless flex pipe. I sounded like my exhaust was in stereo because the 2 pipes were so far apart. Power was good but probably not as good as if I had an X-pipe plumbed in. The negatives were : I melted a couple of 2x2 holes in the underside of the ground effects from too much heat and the Supertrapps got real ugly from road grime and very low ground clearance.
Not a bad setup if you want to be different.
