It's a 8.5 hp wisconsin robin I got it off a paint mixer and the fraim I don't know what it is my friend gave it to me. And you were asking how it is standing up. There is a kick stand its behind the rear tire on the other side of the bike that is why you can't see it.

Did at least one of your neighbors make a point to come out and laugh at you?!! I hope so, you need to bring it to a track and run that thing in a motorcycle class, or get'er all shined up for warm summer crusing of the strip with all the crotch rocket boys I'll bet all the chicks in the neighborhood came runnin, you got bling baby, spoke wheels-chrome, chopper, I'm now jealious, I know it's impossible to duplicate an original, but the checks in the mail, I want one Just dont know if it'd hold up to all our cornfed women back here

Aqua FBody are you using a bicycle chain or minibike chain? If you're using a minibike chain how did change the sprockets? I got a gokart setup but the clutch won't work with a bicycle chain and I can't change the sprocket on the clutch.

Near Hayward and Oakland but, I'm moving to Chico (the import zone ) in a few months. The difference between a mini bike chain is pitch, roller diameter, roller width and pin diameter. I may have found a way to put a 10HP motor on an old bike I found.

Ok well you guys have me convinced now to build one too. As soon as I get a new job (hopefully by next week) then I'll start ordering parts.

I have a few questions though....

1. Does anyone have a list of all the parts needed? I know most of them but don't want to forget the little things.

2. Do most people use the gas tank for looks only or run a line from it to the engine? Most of the pics I've seen still have the original tank still on the engine.

3. Where would I go about looking for a good 10hp engine to use? Rebuilding it is not an issue and I rather do that then pay hundreds of dollars for one.

4. What exactly does a jackshaft do? I've been trying to figure out what they are and why only some bikes have them.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm using a 4.5HP mower motor and if it works out okay I will switch to the 10HP motor, and yes it will be running vertical thanks to this little gear thing I found, it fits directly to the crank shaft of the motor but, it's not a full 90* bend so the motor will be leaning out a bit.

Never built it. I ended up buying another car to restore instead. Not an F-Body but I need to diversify so when I open my resto shop I have done a variety of cars.
