Fabbing motor mount brackets

I have made mock ups of the motor mount brackets I need (going from the block to mounts). I belive that 1.8" steel should be strong enough, as it was the same thickness used in the 2.8 brackets. Do y'all think this will strong enough for the 3800, or beef it up some? Pics as son as I find the links to them.

Also, what are going rates to have these fabbed up?

having brakcets made, should be done friday or saterday. I'll post pics for everyone. Gona be most likely the 1/8" thick metal w/possible double thickness in areas for strength.

The 2.8 brackets used on the 3.4 weren't wide enough & of a stamped one peice design. As far as the 4th gen brackets, .....well.....

slight size difference
