Cowl Induction

I have a three inch cowl hood (with functional holes in the back) on my 87 IROC. Carburated. Anyone have any ideas/pics to make this a fully functional cowl induction setup? Thanx

get a rubber seal that goes on top of your air filter. but a cowl only draws cool air in it doesnt mean that is has to go to ur carb that would be ram air. is that what you want to do. if it is then use the rubber seal method. otherwise it is functional

Some first gens had functional cowl induction. IIRC I think that there was a flap that would open as you increased speed allowing air to flow in when necessary.

i was thinkin of making my stock iroc hood and the recessed place where the vent things go and making ti into small cowl inductions. i think it would look cool and it may not put a lot of air in but it would let some heat out!
