Electric water pump installation....
im not sure if i posted this stuff before, i havent been around this board much lately....
heres my electric waterpump setup.....i used this pump cause i already had it and its been working mint since march now....
in order to make clearance for the alt belt to run under to the crank pulley i made these extensions for the water pump flanges....

it took a little work to get them perfect so they would seal, and i used about 2000000000 gaskets in the process but it came out good....this also made more clearance and allowed a much shorter lower hose.
then i had to fabricate an idler pulley to run the belt down underneath the pump to the crank pulley...
i used an off the shelf idler pulley with a bearing and bushing, and welded a nut into a piece of tubing, braced it up, shimmed it so the belt lined up and here it is
belts never come off, up to 7000rpm

i have the same pump. never thought of doing that, instead i spen an obsene amount of money on a moroso bracket kit for the alternator and pulley for the crank to drive it. wish i'd went the same route you did.

Is that just regular square tube stock you used for the waterpump extensions?
