3rd Gen Fabricator/Modifier Awards

Hello to all. I am posting this message here because I was not sure where else it should go. My message is mainly a great big thank you to all of the creative people at thirdgen.com boards. Many of you have come up with excellent ideas to improve your third gen. I would like to take time and give out some awards of the best ideas I've tried, am trying and or have come across this year. They have all gotten the gerbil spinning in the wheel again.

The First Annual 2005 3rdy Awards

The first 3rdy goes to best Overall Idea.
The LS1 front brake upgrade.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to accomplish this procedure. It is no doubt that countless hours and money were spent to determine if the brakes would infact work. Thak you for taking all the risk and then posting the results to the other board members. Your effort has yielded a yery cost effective upgrade. I personally thank you all for saving me from buying a Brembo kit.
The LS1 Front Brake Upgrade also gets the 3rdy awards for Brakes as well as Most Cost Effective Mid-Major Modification

Honerable Mention In the Brake Category Goes to
The LS1 Rear Brake Upgrade

The 3rdy for Engine Modification Goes to
The LT1 Intake Modification
Thank you John for all of your hard work and sacrifice to prove all naysayers wrong. You gave us a different route to take towards short runner manifold TPI. What is even more impressive is your willingness to post work work and knowledge on the boads at no charge. You have assisted so many others in their quest to obtain the LT1 intake. Thank You. And a big thank you to all that have attempted, succeded and drive with a LT1 Intake. It is you that continue to drive this modification a success. You too have worked hard to verify the results of the LT1 Intake.

The 3rdy for Interior Modification goes to
The 4th gen dash, console and door panel upgrade.
Wow, who would have ever thougt that this could work out? I am sure a lot of time money, blood, sweat and tears went into this modification. I must admit I am a little on the fence on wether or not I will do this change. I can say that the 4th gen interior certainly gives are cars that new modern edge to them. Those that have done the Mod that I have seen on here look great. Thank you for being the pioneers!!

The 3rdy for Exhaust goes to
All the hardworking members who attempt and succed to bringing us the true dual exhuast. I am sure one day you will all succed in bring a cost effective procedure to the masses.

The last 3rdy for best Workmanship goes to
You, the thirdgener who has spent countless hours working on your car to give it that personal touch. It specifically goes to you who goes that extra mile to make sure you do a professional install. You give 110% to ensure that every angle of the repair looks as original as possible. You, you are not a "hacker" or a "rigger", you are a true visionary. Thank You everyone of you.

I know that there are still plenty of other awards that could be given. I left off the obvious modifications(I.E. LS1. LT1 Engine, T56 4th gen rears blah, blah blah). However, these modifications stood out at this time. One thing that they all have in common is that they are all using Factory GM parts. To me, this is an important part. It make me feel good to have OEM modifications. These upgrades also can be very affordable. It depends on who is doing the work and where you get the parts. The other excellent quality of these modifications is that they eliminate the "Big Man". There is no big name company making these parts. There are no big stores or chains carrying these parts. Lastly, all the modifications involve recycling. Who said that Hot Rodders aren't Enviromentally Friendly?!

So there it is the 2005 3rdy Awards! Read it, debate it and question them.
