swiss cheesezing the k-member?

Would this be un-safe? is there some way to lightn it up i like the
tubular K-members but there like over $300
any ideas

if you really have to have a tubular k member to save weight i would spend the lousy 300 and do it right. swiss cheesing the stock piece will considerably weaken it.

If you take the steel out in the right places and/or properly brace what is left you’ll be fine. Large sections of it could disappear without ending up with a weaker piece, though if you don’t know what you’re doing you’re likely to make it weaker.
