Carbon Fiber

How do you make things outta this stuff?? Is it the same process as fiberglassing? I saw a guy with a CF intake and it looked pretty sweet so I was wondering how to go about it and where I can get it and for much. Thanks, Baron

Same process as fiberglassing, You'll want to use epoxy resin with carbon fiber, it's will make a stronger, lighter part compared to polyester resin. Check out www.uscomposites.com for materials. Do a couple of searches, there's a lot of info out there and some stuff on this site as well.

Working with the stuff is not bad at all. IMO the hard part is making it look good. Every time I work with the stuff its going to be painted so it doesnt matter how it lays.
