Home made subframe connectors
I was wondering if u guys that made subframe connectors made the spohn kind or like Alston SFC's, also how hard was it ? Also so if u guys got pics of ur sfc's that would be cool.

Mine are closer to the Alston design. At least in the location of mounting. They actually join the subframes together.
In picture DCP_0193.JPG, you can see the rocker panel style is mounted on the outside of the LCA mount. The subframe is towards the inside. Now the third gen doesn't really have true subframes. It's all just sheet metal however the points that look like subframes are multiple sheets of metal to provide the stiffness. Mounting SFC somewhere other than on the subframes isn't properly tying them together although they will work.

No, both my dad and I have 9-bolt rear ends.
At that time, I probably still had the 3.42 10-bolt the car came with.
