It was a real tight fit. What do you think?

I wish I had made more to sell! This design would work for any combo using that factory crossmember piece.
Hopefully I'll never need to use it though!

Very nice but I would suggest adding an addition brace/bolt to the rear of this piece and connect it to the floor board. If your driveshaft does happen to come apart this looks like it would bounce at the rear of the loop because it isn't bolted/braced to anything. Just a thought.
Looks Great!

I found a loop similar to the one I made. This loop is only held on by the bolts that go into the tranns mount! I believe mine will be stronger. I used solid steel bar, and welded the loop to the crossmember piece. Plus it only cost me my time to build!

That's fine. I just remember seeing the ones that tie into the "frames/connectors" and bolt to the floor pan area.

Looks good…
Where did you get the actual loop part?
I’ve wondered about those designs… from the rules the implication is that 2x1/4” is the smallest profile that is strong enough to hold (their alternative tube ends up a similar cross section), but the part that the arm is welded to has much smaller area then that…

I didn't follow any rule book, this is only for the "In case **** happens" sort of thing.
I cut the loop at work. A found a 5 foot long section of tube, and cut it to length on the bandsaw.
You could bend one out of flat bar stock.
