LS1 T56 to Gen 1 SBC crossmember with clearance for LT's...part II

So awhile back I handmade a crossmember for the T56 swap into my camaro.I wasn't all that happy with what I had come up with and after two more attempts I am pleased. My original post can be seem here to see the original one I fabricated...

So now all I have to do is notch the driver side support to clear the pipe coming off the LT collector and get this thing powdercoated.

The first one I built altough it looks really heavy weighed in at 9lbs on the nose, this new one came in at 8.57lbs so that was nice to see as well.

Before pics are the top one in each pic, after (or the new crossmember) is the lower pic of each.

So the main reason for the revisions on this project was to gain as much ground clearance as I could. The first shot at it only gave me 3" of GC as seen in my first thread, well this last revision netted me 4.5" of GC at ride height to the trans mount bolt (lowest point on the CM, red arrow in pic).

On top of that it gave me ample clearance to build a y pipe to work with the 2210's and also keep as much GC as possible. That thread here:
