3RDGen Stuck in a rut?
3RDGen Stuck in a rut? Once ya get holes dug best way is to just jack it up and get something under the tires. 2x4 works good but don't always provide traction and you can slip off them.
[every year I get the Firebird stuck in my own yard around this time, to many cars not enough drive way width...]
Worked great, better the my last design.
Which was 3-4 pieces of sign post welded into a \_/\_/\_/\_/ shape and on the _ spot where the sign post is full of holes. I put lose double nutted bolts. So once on there when the tire spins it grabbed and pull on the lose bolts.
But they didn't work well with boards n stuff or soft mud when they sank, also spit our easier.
Newer idea works much better as it hold on to the board tight [not nailed down or n e thing] so it doesn't spit out or slip off. Though both work fine if its just ice or snow.
I find most times ya only need to get out of your rut to get movin
