I hope he didn't give up it was looking Good..! looks alot better than my crappy attempt at a custom dash... I tried to build one out of fiberglass for a GMC truck I had and I didn't shed a tear when it went into the trash...

that dash looks clean, obviously show only but i couldnt help but notice how smooth and clean (white) everything is but the trunk pop and parking break release are still sportin that 80s gm style.

No real reason to. Just a lot of extra headaches. Cardboard is only good if you need a template. He clearly didn't.

wow cool, i have been trying to think of stuff to do to my dash... this just opens up a whole world of possibilities i would be too lazy to do.

in actuality ive been thinking about taking the plastic off of my current dash pad, smoothing the foam stuff out and then slapping some fabric I might like.
