Relocating fuel lines

I am going to relocate my fuel lines this summer to clean up under the hood. I am going to cut them in the tunnel and run braided line up to the feed line and regulator. Has anyone else done this? Does anyone have pics? I want to remove the part on the drivers side frame rail near the steering column. The car has an LT1 and I am going to run the lines to the rear of the intake. I am looking for pics, opinions, suggestion on type of hose and comments. I would also like to find pics of stock lines in the tunnel.

Re: Relocating fuel lines

ttt. I am also interested. I also have a LT1 thirdgen.

I would think you would just cut the line right as it exits the tunnel and flare the lines there. I don't know, I would like to see some good pics.

I am concerned about if its legal for the track or not.

Re: Relocating fuel lines

I have these fittings. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LT1-L...0716QQtcZphoto
It converts the factory fuel rails to AN. The big one threads directly on to the regulator. I am planning to use this on a friends car and mine. It will move my lines so they are hidden completely by my fuel rail covers. I am wanting to clean up my engine compartment and this is step one.

Re: Relocating fuel lines

what size line are you planing on using? -6? Cuz unless those fittings are the ones needed on the "factory" rails I don't see the need. Also what power are you having?

-6 for supply and return. It is a matter of aesthetics for me. I am running an 11.2:1 compression LT1 with an LE1 package. I don't have any horespower numbers for my car.

Re: Relocating fuel lines

Mine are not hidden but I thought I had a good idea. I ran -08 from the sending unit to my home made fuel block. Then I rand -06 from there. I did the -08 knowing I am going to upgrade in the future. Oh and the return is -06.
