CNC Plasma table ideas

Just to let the board members know, I have a CNC plasma table in my garage that I use for my metal fab/art hobby. If anyone has ideas for stuff to be cut out IE: mini tub frame reinforcement plates or front lower control arm boxing plates let me know. I would definately give a TGO members a group discount. I am also a 3rd gen owner and lover. Thanks. G

Yes. I can cut up to a 1/2" thick plate and the table will take a full 4' X 8' sheet.

Re: CNC Plasma table ideas

could you do custom orders if I sent you an audocad file or dimensioned print? I was thinking of something like an aluminum shifter plate and/or radio trim piece.

I can do custom orders either from a dimentional drawing or a DXF file. The finish of the cut on something like a radio or shifter trim plate in aluminum is probably rougher than you are looking for. You would want it cut using a water jet or a laser cutter. I could do it but you would have to finish the cut edges IE: sanding or filing to a smooth finish. Thanks. G

I will try and post some pictures of what the cut looks like so people can judge for themselves.
