Day Rider

I had an idea to put a light in my hood scoop, turns out while at work a spoiler brakelight got broke on a corolla so i wired it up on my car, kinda looks like nite rider lol, except its a white camaro of course. now my co workers call me day rider.

Re: Day Rider

Does your car talk too?
That's actually kinda cool.
Might want to be careful of having it on while on the road though.
Not sure if red on the front is illegal or not. Probably depends on the state too.

Re: Day Rider

yea it's pretty much illegal everywhere lol, something about posing as an emergency vehicle, that is why i ran a switch to the inside so i could turn it off and on. i use it mostly on the highway because i live on a popular cruising street and cops are frequent.

i was going to go blue as well actually, but i work at a body shop, and a wrecked corolla had a busted led third brakelight in the spoiler so i snagged it and bought some wire and a switch and put it in, just a cheap quick idea. i could still go buy some leds and swap it out but im not sure its even worth the time.

Re: Day Rider

lol yea it is illegal but in Oklahoma red and blue is illegal because they both represent emergency vehicles, however blue was my first idea but i got a spoiler brake light that was already made with red LED's so i just put it in. I could change them still
