Major plans are:
91mm turbo and accompaning plumbing
a/w intercooler
fabed remote mount water pump
belt drive fuel pump
roll bar into a cage
probably some inner fender work for taller tires
possibly a parachute

But what is currently being attacked:
I did LS1 rear brakes and continue with the front half of my brakes.
New C5 rotor next to old rotor, and I will be going to machine the old one down to just a hub to fit the new rotors:

Sitting on my 15x4 wheels I'm using:

the TIGHT clearance:

LS1 front calipers compared to stockers, obviously don't have a mount made up yet:

Re: my moding 08/09
i was waiting for you to say turbo. the prochargers are works of art but turbos are fun on the strip. are you using a 2step?

Fast82, DAMN that IS tight. I started laughing when I saw that. You'll notice a night and day difference though in stopping I'm sure. Going turbo eh? I myself was procharged with a P1SC but decided to build a new, bigger, better 383 (old engine was a 383 as well), sell the P1SC and am now in the market for a D1SC or F1A.

Re: my moding 08/09
I don't think I'd call it a 2 step, but I have it setup like that. I stage the car and hold the button on my shifter that holds the front brakes, trans brake, and the rev limiter. So I sit there WOT on the 4700rpm limiter and trans brake then fly away at the flick of my thumb. I figure with the limiter and trans brake like that I should have no problem spooling really any turbo. I ordered mine with a 1.5 a/r exhaust housing that should be good with the 385ci and rpms mostly in the range of 6600-7800 other than the first second or so.

That clearance is basically as tight as possible. There's a shop 20 mins. from me that had both a 2000 Camaro and Corvette that I was able to trial fit my wheels on. Either way I need to use at least a 3/4" wheel spacer/adapter for caliper to spoke clearance. Since my wheels fit the C5's diameter, why not?

Re: my moding 08/09
I dont think that is enough clearance for the wheels

Metal flexes and being alum it flexes quite a bit

Example: Our FSAE car had about 5/16" clearance from the calipers and we still scraped the wheels a bunch

Maxed out the blower at a 9.55 @ 140.6mph, and I'm well on my way with this from the money I got from selling the blower. The aim for this is an 8.5. Plus I've always wanted that turbo wistle.
