What chassis shop did the work? Looks great so far! Id like to do the same with my car. Currently on 275s but Im sure a little under powered!

whats it take to be remotely competitive in real street? What are you doing as far as suspension? Where did you get the 9"

 

honestly if you dont have a car that runs 5.40's for faster you are living a pipe dream.
i bought the moser bolt in 9"
got strange double adjustable rear shocks, wolfe double adjustable lowers

 

so how's it coming along?

 

its mostly complete, gotta install trans cooler, rear shocks, new coil over springs and plumb the brakes, wire head and tail lights. I have already started it up it does run.
i dropped it off at the body shop last friday.

 

looking very nice how much is it going to weigh with the cage

 

not sure, i think its 200 lbs lighter than the other car

 

adding the tube steering column was 30 lbs loss

currently it has the old 355 that was inthe black n white car.
on a mild tune up it went 9.74 @ 140 with 1.31 60.
best MPH was 147 dont know where tht came from but i took it.

what size tire and how much cutting was done on this body??? Rim size too??? The car is no doubt sexy. lol

the new billet specialties comp 5 series also have 6" of back spacing

I was looking at those when they came out and they didn't originally come with a 6" BS, maybe they do now... back then you had to make a custom shop order to get them... ended up with some 15x9 draglites with the same offset (5.5" BS)

 

i got a deal on my wheels , i paid 600.00 for all 4. at first i dodnt like them but they grew on me.
