am i crazy?

I have an 87 z28 with some front end bumper damage. i like the 79 z28 front end better. is it possible to put and 79 front end 0n a 87 and how are is it. has it been done before?

The second gen chassis and body design is completely different than a third gen. The second gen has a removable subframe while the third gen, the inner fenders are part of the frame/chassis.

Nothing is impossible but to install second gen front sheet metal onto a third gen isn't going to be a simple bolt on operation.
