2nd gen idea

ok so i doubt il even think of doing this to my car, but i was wondering has anyone ever put a second gen front end on a 3rd gen? the fenders and front end look like they might bolt up any ideas?

It's been discussed many times. There is nothing that will simply "bolt up" If you had a second gen nose, it would need to be cut and shaped to fit third gen body lines. It's not impossible but it's also not practical. You will need some metal, plastic, fiberglass modification skills.

Having owned both.. I dunno.. Car would be really long when completed.

2nd gens have lots of bolts holding the front end together. Kinda a strange design.

Yeah that looks more like they just stuck a 2nd gen nosepiece on a third gen. Bolting on the fenders and such would be much more difficult in my opinion. Maybe you could just get one of each. Just kidding.

lol actually depending on how my summer job goes id like to get a 2nd and keep my third. the only this is if i do that i wont have any money for go fast parts.
