Re: Mini-tubing how to?
Depends how big of a tire you plan on using. You can't go inward any more than what's already at the framerails. You can remove and plate over the bumpstops to add a little more room. If you go to a taller tire, increasing the front of the inner fenders is the only real "mini tubbing" that will do any good.
With some basic inner fender modifications, I was able to squeeze 29.5 x 10.5 slicks under my fenders before I finally back halved the whole car.

you can go in quite aways, but the ammount dpends on what you are willing to fabricate, and what springs to wan to use.
IF you go inward much more that the factory rails, the interior will have to go, or be heavily modified.
I did a minitub to fit 335/30/18's on a 12" wide rim, and cut the stock frail rail through the middle of the spring perch, and used coilovers instead.
i actually cut right after where the shock mount is on the body

the first, rough cut, you can see the hump in the center of the spring perch that used to locate the rear spring.
the new inner frame

the inner frame piece in the well and forming the rounded part of the tun in the car is a piece of 11 ga, rebuilding the side of the frame, and across the lower front of the tub to the quarter braces. The new rail is 9.5" in from the hub flange, if you grab a tape measure and measure, you will see how much had to go.
That will be about as far as you can go and still run stock suspension, i had to have offset control arms made to fit the rims. Unless you relocate the springs and control arms inboard.
Afterwards, i had to rebuild the interior to fit.
Its a ton of work, and like ALKY said, you can fit a pretty good sized tire on the car without going this far.
I see your near philly, im a bit north of you around flemington

Re: Mini-tubing how to?
Looks like you did quite a bit of cutting there, I think I might do the same, I'm only running a 295 but everyone here says they fit but infact it's a monster to get them to fit, I need a new rear so I was gonna mini tub and tuck the rear about an inch to get them in the fender, I like what ya did tho do you have more pictures? I'd like to see as much detail as I can, thanks, email them if you wish, otecnick@yahoo.com
