Price estimates

ok, I put this in this thread because I thought it was most fitting, I'm new to the forum and am used to other forums having a "general" section. but I love how well organized this website is.

ok, so I HAD an 1982 Trans am that was a roller minus EVERYTHING. then the glass got busted out, so I dismantled the innards. well, the car was sadly sent to the crusher last week to pay for some fees. the wiring was shot, the paint was shot, no driveline at all.

I've got an opportunity at getting an 85 Trans Am that only needs an engine, for $500-$700. dpending on if I buy it soon, or wait to see if the guy still has it in a month, in which he promised me that he'd sell me it for only $500.

to afford this I need to make $600 to $800 out of thin air. these are some parts that I still have from my 82 that i'm gonna sell. do these prices seem outrageous to you guys, or are they ok? the parts are in pretty good shape for the most part.

Dash pad, black-$75
Tail lights, $50 each said, $20 middle, $100 for all of them.
Drivers side window, tinted, $50
Passenger side window, non tinted, $40
Center Council, $150 obo (great shape and i heard they're rare)
guage cluster, $50 (great condition)

I'm not soliciting the parts for sale here because they're not for sale yet, i'm just asking for opinions on if that looks ok for prices. I figure there's someone out there that has a use for them. I love third gens and I just want to get my hands on one so bad.

Re: Price estimates

The prices seem close to what i've seen listed in my area. the only thing i'm not sure on is the center console... I'm not sure how rare they are but 150 seems like it might be a little high. I'd do a search on Craigslist and see what seems common.

Re: Price estimates

I sold a complete 82-84 Trans am console for $150 before. All depends on how bad someone wants it, I guess.
