Glad you posted that I was about to cut mine today. It looks good except where you have to skip 3 lovers for mounting purpose. I was wondering how that would work. I think I will go with the Schultz look.

Ya , I dont suppose you have to leave the 3 lovers in if you dont want to, I did for support reasons like you mentioned , but i thought it was kinda unique to cut 3 ,2, 3, 2, shows a pattern at least i thought. BTW what is the shulz look ?

Re: here is my stab at functional louvers
I misspelled it.( Skulte)it was posted by Stephen in the other post Making louvers functional. I was going to do mine like yours but when I had to cut the support tabs or leave the louvers I went the other route. But I do think yours will let more heat out.
Re: here is my stab at functional louvers
I looked his up. I see what you mean, But when i done mine i noticed that the Louver is not all that thick, and IMO just cutting out the back side of the louver does not create as much volume for heat to escape as fast, I could be wrong tho, I needed to get heat OUT cause my car runs on the warm side. Many ways to kill a bird, did you get yours done? the job as a whole is a PITA, Very time consuming but take your time for sure.
