Custom Camaro Ram Air Boxes Question...
Hello, I was looking for any information on plans for the ram air boxes that go behind the fog lights. I work at a company that fabricates metal electrical enclosures, and can design/build these, but want to take the short road and get the specs on them from somebody. I know Hawks sells these, but dont want to spend $100 for something I can make myself for $20. Thanks for any info!

I made mine out of aluminum and then bent and riveted them together. I even angled mine forward a little.

I first built it up with cardboard

Then took it apart and put on tabs that could be tucked under and riveted together.

After I transferred it onto aluminum, I started bending it all together and tucking it in.

I then ran into a problem I seemed to have over looked.

The back of the tube didn't go all the way over the edge of plastic on the back. I couldn't make it all one piece and cover it because it was physically impossible.

So, I made this little piece to cover the back.

Like so.
It turned out perfect and runs great. I still have the template I used and I could measure it out a little but I don't know if you would want to use it. I guess you could make the tube a little wider and not need that little cover for the back.
