Help me find a nut, the right one that is
I am looking for something to anchor a bolt / sheet metal screw into the front sheet matal just in front of the radiator near the nose. I know GM used some speed nuts (pictured below) in this area to hold down the plastic. Is there anything else that I could use, something I could drill a ROUND hole and drop in , similar to a dry wall anchor to secure the bolt/ screw. I found the following two things is there anything else that is better/will work better any ideas appreciated.
BTW: I will be securing the radiator to the front using two metal straps and I need to attach them to the sheet metal in front of the radiator ( towards the nose, in the same area as the factory shroud but a little further forward).

A couple times? The brake caliper tool set broke the first use. Torque wrench lasted one and a half engine rebuilds (was probably never accurate either, amazing I never blew a head gasket). My vibro tumbler's been going strong for years though, cleaned hundreds maybe thousands of nuts, bolts, and rifle casings by now.
I was thinking maybe tee nuts, bend the teeth over so theyd stay, but that would take an extra couple holes around the main hole for the teeth to go through.
