Iroc hood on formula without pop up head lights

I have put new headlights on my firebird that dont raise, so i was wondering could i use a iroc hood to cover the holes that the head lights were in?

Nope. Camaro hoods are relatively flat vs the the curve of the sloped nose of Firebirds.

ditto; front of the firewall, almost every curve and angle is different from bird to camaro

if you had two hoods to sacrifice you could more than likey take apart the two halves and weld the camaro top to the bird base so that it contours too it. not sure if that will work but something to look into if your minds set on doing this

I saw a nice harwood cowl hood for a camaro at a junkyard, but someone cut squares from the front corners and installed it on a bird, it was painfully obvious that it was the wrong hood, the contours were all wrong. Just tossing that out there.

I do remeber seeing that someone made a fiberglass hood with out the head light area being cut out but VFN's web site isn't coming up any more.

Ever think about welding some metal in the place of the pop up head light area.

Do you have pics of what you have ? maybe some people here can come up with something for you
