Can someone build this for me? Name price....

I have a 91 camaro tbi 5.0. I have removed the elect fan and all shrouding and installed a 18" flex fan that bolts straight to the water pump pulley. It has a 3" spacer. I need someone to build me a 2 piece sheet metal or aluminum fan shroud. I want it to completely cover the radiator top and bottom so that the fan pulls air from every edge of the radiator. I can send tons of pix for whoever accepts the job. Thanks!

or you install an 82-85 plastic shroud It's 2 pc, a top and a bottom piece and it encapsulates the radiator and the fan sits in the round openimng, drawing air through the entire core.

Not that Im busting your chops or anything but why did you get rid of the factory setup? Even with a stock rad. and the 400SBC mine keeps plenty cool with just the stock single fan electric setup.

^^^^ya....You do know a mechanical fan robs your motor of HP and is not as efficient as a electric fan....

I know elect fans are more efficient, there are two main reasons why I did this,

I had a 76 Camaro that had overheating issues and this technique worked, always trusted a flex fan since. Plus the hp robbed is not noticed at all, what is it 5-7 at the most? It's a sbc, tons of ways to get that hp back.

Second and most important, a lot of people hate it but I LOVE the whine sound a flex fan makes when you rev it. That in combination with my flowmaster exhuast makes me drool!! LOL

I looked at that 82 shroud, my new flex fan may come up alil higher , ill check it out. Thank!

if you are using a serpentine system, you do realize the water pump turns the wrong way for a fan right???

TT,
Could he not just grab a fan off something that came with a mechanical fan? My truck (89 1500) has a serpentine system and mechanical fan. 210 all day long. Any traffic condition, any weather. It should work, theoretically. Not that I claim to know a ton about the differences.

It creates interesting symptoms when it happens. The car is fine at idle (air is being pushed trough the rad backwards) but driving the fan stops the air from passing through the rad and the car overheats.

You can get flex fans for both directions BTW and thirdgens came in both v-belt and serpentine depending on the year (more or less)...

Reminds me of clothes pinning playing cards to the spokes of my bicycle as a kid......

I had a brand new flex fan sling apart on my 74 Hurst Olds, Took out the water pump shaft and bent both water pump and crank pulleys-all belts-cut both hoses-fan shroud and radiator..... You couldn't give me a truck load of flex fans.....

First off your fan should pull air through the radiator not push it, Your fan is turning the wrong way, thats why it gets hot sitting, I would get the correct fan.
