Re: Core support removal

Were you nervous when you started this project or have you seen it on other cars? The big question would be how much weight did you shed?

Re: Core support removal

Seems to me you are removing much needed weight from the furthest point of leverage on the car. You trying to end up on the roof?

Your right... But I have double adjustable struts and travel limiters... Time to make them do their job!

So, I'm confused. You are removing weight off the front, not running bars and lowering the vehicle height in hopes of not doing that bumper stand again?

Lowering the car will allow me to change the instant center of the car farther out. The front of my torque arm has 4 hole of adjustment in the front.
Plus before the car sat up 2'' higher in the rear and would rotate on the axle and wheel stand. Plus with double adjustable struts and travel limiters I'm not worried.

I'm going to apologize for assuming you're a man. Looked at a few of your vids. Would you be Shelby? The pink box and engine parts make much more sense now. I so wanted to ask but feared insulting someone if it was a man.

Yeah she does good. She can **** some **** up. LOL. The reason for the tape is because in ultra street you cannot have a forward facing scoop. So when we race the ultra we turn it around and in the back of the box there is 3 holes, gotta cover them up also. So i gave her the scoop and thats how i got it back.

We turn it around when we do 28x10.5/275 shoot outs
