Full 4th Gen Swap
Hello, I have recently acquired a 94' LT1 T56 T/A and I am planning on putting the engine/trans/rear in my 87' T/A after this conversion I'm planning on doing a 4th gen dash swap.
My question is how does the wiring come into play between harnesses on the car, engine, ECM, interior? Would most of it be "plug and play"?
I'm thinking of doing custom 4th gen door panels as well so I would have switches in the door, and mentally attempting to have full functioning heat and AC. I know stock camaro/firebird LT1 has issues with position of AC compressor. Anyone have success using corvette LT1 AC bracket?
Anyone have experience in full conversions? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

That is going to be a sick ride when it's done. How much time do you think you have into it?
Did you take everything that was stock out and essentially start over?
Did you use 4th gen fuel tank as well?

Re: Full 4th Gen Swap
ive been working on the car for about 6 years lol
basically i did strip the both cars. i did have to modify the tank neck(mine is 98 which is metal)
so far a few things i had to modify where k member for a/c and oil pan, gas tank neck, shifter cable hole, cut a few tabs for dash, brake and fuel lines, and custom/modify door panels

When it comes to the dash, I know you have to some modding but how close does it line up?
I'm going to assume you put the 4th gen dash vents in? If so how difficult was that part? You put in 4th gen heater box as well?
What route are you deciding to go with the door panels? I was thinking to modify with fiberglass.

theres about 1" gap on each side.
i havent done anything with the vents yet.
im modifying the 4th gen panels to fit the 3rd gen door then leather wrap them
