Brake hubs

Has anyone fabbed their own brake hubs around here. I know about machining down a set of rotors, or buying some from KORE3 etc.

Say I didn't want to run wheel spacers and needed to space the hubs out .400", anyone done anything like this? I would be using 7075-T6.

Re: Brake hubs

So you are going to machine your own hubs? If you have the equipment go for it. If not use cut down 1le rotor/hubs and slip on rotors and that will get your wheels out the .4 or so you need. Just have to alter the brake caliper brackets to accomidate the change as well.

Also, what does everybody think about the studs. Screw in or press in?

Re: Brake hubs

find a set of old worn out rotors and measure them... G bodies and 2wd S10 trucks use the same rotors..
