fabricating on tourque arm
i was wandering if anyone has ever welded tubular or something on the torque arm to make it more stiff. ive been doing some research and turns out that only a couple have done it and it has worked...
but wanted other input... I have a 9 bolt so trying to find an aftermarket one is tough..
thanks all

Doesn't matter if you have a 9 bolt, 10 bolt, dana 44, 9", S60 or 12 bolt. If the diff was designed to fit under a third gen then every torque arm available will fit.

Ok cause I read somewhere that some don't fit so I was hoping I could weld some pieces on the stock torque arm for the extra strength...
And I did read some fit and some doesn't and I've also read that after the torque arm upgrade the had issues where it would hit the bottom of the car.

Stock TA's are weakest at the bolt holes where it attaches to the diff. Hooking up with a torque monster will tear those open
Welding a bar down the length of a TA is good to help yourself feel better, but does little to address the areas it will actually fail
