Installing BMR SFC, anyone add additional tie ins?

Building a ground up resto mod 91Z28 and was going to buy Detroit Speed SFC, but already have some BMR outer SFC I bought years and years ago.
Figure I will just use these, but make them better by tieing them into the floor boards more perhaps.
I will be running an LS3/T56 with long tubes and stainless duals from Hooker. So all tunnel run stuff. Can sorta do whatever on the "outer" area.

Anybody have pics or suggestions? Since the BMR SFC are boxes. I figure stripping the coating and welding in some heavy gauge plate as close to the pinch weld as possible should be fairly effective.
Maybe 4" long every 12" or so. Really not sure. Maybe a continuous plate makes more sense.
Thoughts?

I've welded in a few of they're sets. Added some stitch welds from the pinch seem right down the side on some, added little plates and angles in others. Have added extra bars and plate to strengthen them up.

I built my own. Added tabs on the outside to weld along the rockers. Another set I built kinda like tge bmr and added alstons with custom fabbed integrated trans and tq arm mount and a ds loop. Check my 87 camaro and 82 ta builds. Pics are in there

This is great thanks. I am doing the same EXACT thing with that vertical bar going up to a plate to stabilize the outer corner.
I am going to add 4" long 1/8" plates along the top of the square bar welded to the pinch rail.

I think this will be more than strong enough for what I am going to use this car for. Really thankful for the images. Thanks again.

On the pics i posted, that car had twin turbos and the exhaust had a front exit. I've installed those SFC's on NA cars before. IIRC, i ran a piece of like 1"x1" over to the subframe. Its up high enough and forward enough that it didnt interfere with the exhaust.
Yea, i like adding the vertical piece up to the floor. JMO that it adds strength. Anyway, hope the pics gave ya some ideas

Once I have welded the tabs on later today I will share pics of the setup before final weld in. Much more detailed progress on my build thread (in fab section)

Very nice. I like the brace in front of the trans pan.

Here is what I got done today.

There is a 1/8" thick 3"x4" plate that the angle iron will be welded to.
