Just finished installing an LS1 fan upgrade and made some pretty slick mounts to keep it in place. Tried to get a picture of the bottom mount installed in the car but it isn't really visible at all. Also will be adding some sort of foam or rubber under the top mount to avoid any chafing on the aluminum radiator. Here's a pic of the bottom mount. It's fastened to the fan housing with rivnuts, the two tapped holes align with holes that are already in the lower radiator support tray from the factory the upper mount upper mount from the back, have to notch around the higher fan.

I notice that entire area by the hood latch is covered in, does that provide any better cooling? I've been thinking about doing the same on my car
