I would like to ask from all of you,
#1: What part/s do you have difficulty in finding?
#2 What parts are more important to you? (Interior, Exterior, Engine or drivetrain)

My Dash structure is falling apart, and sure I can hide it under the dash pad but I know it will eventually break down more. I already have a couple of pieces that broke off when accessing the firewall to get to a relay. This is partly why I started a new company in Phoenix that is leveraging 3D printing to "Replace the Irreplaceable". Right now I am attempting to find out if its the right idea. I am starting to 3d scan every piece of my third gen. Tell me what you think please.

If you make them so they actually fit, you'll probably have a viable company. SO many of the aftermarket parts out there either 'just kinda fit', or only fit after significant amount of 'fitting'. Color could also be important, but fit, IMHO, is paramount.

 

Thank you gbeaird! Exactly the kind of feedback I am looking for. I have had the same troubles with reproduction parts for my center console and the door bezel for the lock and handle, they arrived to me warped and difficult to fit. I actually had to cut out a bigger hole in my door panel to make it fit. So there is a pain point that I overlooked. Thank you,
