1988 GTA, 305TPI, 5-speed, Leather, T-Tops
Up for sale is my 88 GTA. I've had this car for almost 3 years now, but I just no longer have the time to work on it. It runs and drives good, but does need a little work. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff since I've done so much work to this car, but I'll list the good and bad:
Engine: 305TPI
Transmission: T-5, 5-speed manual
Exterior: White
Interior: Tan leather
Mileage: 184,898
The good:
- Runs and drives well
- New alternator, A/C compressor, water pump, tons of other new parts
- New carpet, interior 90% restored
- Inspection good until January 2011, passes smog test fine
- Clear TX title
The bad:
- Needs headliner (I have an ABS one I will include, it just needs the t-top openings cut and covered)
- Needs minor bodywork and repaint (Paint isn't terrible, but for a real resto it needs it)
- A/C doesn't work, needs R134 (compressor is new though)
Mods:
- Smog pump delete
- TB Coolant bypass
- New Bosch II 19# injectors
- Clifford 2-way alarm with pager remote, shock sensor, proximity sensor
- Kenwood CD/MP3 player model KDC-MP642 with Sirius/XM receiver module, Kicker 4x6's, Infinity 6x9's
- 4th-gen center console
Asking $3300

Nice car. Wish I could afford it. Did notice the dash pad has been replaced. Odd they found one older then the car in that good a shape.

Yeah, the dash pad is from an 82-84, the original one was cracked. I couldn't find an 85+ one in good shape, and I got a good deal on this one.

I was wondering what you meant by minor body work...I was also wondering if this car would make a good daily driver...Does it use any oil and what kind of condition is the clutch in?
