Swap for a GN?

I've owned the car since 95. Car was a legit 12 sec car.
I don't have the time/money to fix it now so I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in some kind of swap? 4th gen drivetrain into a 3rd gen bird or maybe an older 4th gen T/A?have an 87 Grand National w/47,000 original miles on it. Car is fully loaded w/t-tops. Car has red stripe injectors(42lbs) te-44c turbo, atr headers, custom exhaust, bigger cam, heads are done, k+n, 10 mm wires, extra gauges(boost, oil, temp, fuel pressure--vdo's) under car braces, hot wire kit for the fuel pump, driveshaft loop, a/c delete pulley, posi(not limited slip)gta rims. And a bunch of other things that I can't remember right now.
All mods were done by a previous owner.
Car has been sitting for a few years under a car cover w/a blown headgasket.
Car was drained and now has oil sitting in the pan. Not sure if motor needs to be rebuilt or just the gaskets done. Started it to circulate the oil and it still sounded awesome! No taps or smoke or anything else. Car needs tires(16's) and a new headliner--no rust
I don't have any pics but the car is in NE Pa near Sussex county NJ, so if someone has anything interesting and they'd like to come see it they can.
Thanks.

Re: Swap for a GN?

I guess I am confused, are you wanting to trade your car for a 3rd gen......only if it has 4th gen drivetrain? Anyways I may be interested in a swap for my 91 TA 350 TPI, full SLP package (Installed by dealer). Runs great and full spohn suspension. Sig has all mods listed in it.

Re: Swap for a GN?

If someone buys this car (the GN), there's a set of original GN wheels for sale at my dad's friend's shop, I believe they only have a few hundred miles on them. He took them off when the car was brand new to put some kinda drag wheel on them. He wants $1,000 for the wheels, and if you know anything about GN's that's a fair price for good wheels.

Sorry to ***** your thread, but I just had to throw that in there. Carry on.

Re: Swap for a GN?

Would you be interested in trading for a VERY nice 91 Jeep Wrangler? Its red with black accents and interior. No BS junk....it really is very sharp. Its easily worth $6500-$7000. It has 10,000 miles on the rebuilt 4.0/5spd....and the AC works! It has brand new everything else...paint, seats, tires/wheels (32s on 15x10s), rock crawler bumpers, body armor rocker gaurds, 2in lift (suspension not body lift), shocks, brakes, ect. I built it to keep but would trade it for a restorable GN. If your interested enough for me to get some pics for you let me know, but like I said if you would be interested in a Jeep you would not be dispointed in this one at all.

Sorry-not really interested in a swap for the jeep. No offense, I already have a Blazer and I'm looking for a little speed!

Re: Swap for a GN?

I have a couple 95 formulas if you are interested in a 4th gen, both are LT1s with the 6 speeds, one is black with black leather interior, other is dark green with tan leather, Black one needs a new optispark and tires before driving, green one was a daily driver, needs brake pads and a good cleaning up. I would trade either one for the GN. Both have T tops as well.
