Looking for what's in the title.
I need a rolling chassis with a good body. Chicagoland would be best. Color is not too much of an issue.
No engine or trans would be best.

My 88 Formula is rotted out and I need a new car to transplant the heart into.

 

I would consider letting this car go as a roller.. which it currently is, for $1700.. It is a low mile body with newer paint. odometer has 94,000 miles I believe. I was going to chop this car up and make a "prostock drag car, but it's too damn clean to mess with. It has ZEEEERO rust and belonged to my uncle since 1988.. It's an 86 TA. was originally a 305 electronic q-jet motor. My uncle sold it in 2000 and I later, found it for sale with no motor. Previous owner repainted the car.. It was originally red with silver Ground effects. Interior is ok.. I had planned to gut it anyways. has power trunk pulldown which still works. Radio and heating wiring and ducts, etc have been removed. Still have a bunch of the stuff. The car comes with the factory wheels in great shape and excellent tires with little use. i have a 92 hardtop firebird. setup for a carb engine/th400. have all suspension done, front tubular k-member, spohn tranny xmember and t/a, built 10-bolt. complete interior minus rear seats and headliner.

id sell it for the right price...

daturbosix - I take it then engine and trans is stil in the car? Do you have pics? Interested in letting it go without the engine and trans? I need something for my 355 TPI and 700.

 

i would only sell it less engine and trans. the car has never made it out of the garage. everything is new. its really isnt for sale, but would consider it. i mean what is your price range, because if it isnt worth it to me, then obviously im not going to be sold.

 

If it really isn't for sale then I guess you won't sell. I was looking to spend around $1000 possibly 1500.

 

yeah, no. i couldnt sell it for that. everything is new on the thing, and i paid a grand for my bare roller. i would need atleast 5 for it with all the stuff just minus engine/trans.

solid no rust and in primer

going to be hard to find exactly what you want when here in IL only 30% of the vehicles left- according to the DMV records in springfield- are 95 and older.
most everything in this state has rotted out and has been hauled to the shredders

1987 Trans Am GTA full roller chassis. Located in Tampico IL 61283 approx 2 1/2 - 3 hours away from chicago. No motor, trans, interior, hood or wing. Does have all of the ground effects although not shown in the photos. In need to get rid of it soon so I can fix my IROC. $800 obo will work on the price.

I have a '89 firebird T-top car. No rearend under it now but I have one that can go with it. No rust, needs a little body work, a few dents. Was originally TB 305 and 700R4. I'd like $250 for it. I'm in North Central Arkansas, Mountain Home.

 

Thanks for the help guys but I think i'm just going to put my drivetrain in a Fiero. Talk about fun!
